What is a Carnival Gift Card?

Carnival Cruise Gift Card

The Carnival Gift Card is a prepaid gift card similar to a gift certificate that can be used as payment toward a cruise booking on any of our ships, online pre-purchases of shore excursions, spa experiences and Fun Shop gifts or toward your Sail & Sign onboard account. Gift Cards are not accepted on ships that sail with a functional onboard currency other than USD; therefore, Gift Cards will not be redeemable (or sold) onboard Carnival Spirit or Carnival Legend while operating in Australia as the functional onboard currency is AUD.

Gift Card FAQ

Gift Cards are not refundable or redeemable for cash, except where required by law. Gift Cards are redeemable for cruise reservation or onboard spending only, and there is no cash back.

How is the winner determined?

Ticket sales will end on May 18th. Names from purchased tickets will be printed on 1” x 2” ticket and placed in a raffle drum. The drawing will be held on May 24th. You do not have to be present to win.

Are there any restrictions?

-You must be 18 years or older to receive the gift card from the Alvarado ISD Education Foundation.

-Alvarado ISD Education Foundation board members are not eligible to enter the contest.

Do I have to claim the gift card on my taxes?

It is your responsibility to claim any earnings on your taxes. Alvarado ISD Education Foundation may be required to submit Form W-2G.

I bought multiple tickets but only received one e-ticket?

Our current ticketing system will send one electronic ticket for the entire purchase. It is more of a receipt than an actual ticket. After May 18th, the names from purchased tickets will be printed on 1” x 2” ticket and placed in a raffle drum. Your name will be printed on the same number of tickets you purchased. For example, Jane Doe bought 5 tickets. We will print 5 tickets with the name Jane Doe and all 5 will be placed in the raffle drum.
